2001 - Roll - A - Guard was founded by Andrew Ayers

November 2003 - Sandra Sternickle-Ayers joined the Roll - A - Guard team

June 24th, 2004 - Sandra Sternickle-Ayers got a certificate of Integrity Selling

2006 - Joined the Better Business Bureau

March 17th, 2006 - Roll - A - Guard was featured in Meet some
customer service heroes in the St. Petersburg Times

June 13th, 2006 - Moved to a bigger factory & showroom opened

January 31st, 2007 - Won Angie's List Super Service Award 2006

June 2007 - Introduced a new product: Hurricane Screen

July 4th, 2007 - Hosted 4th of July dinner at the Ronald McDonald House

July 25th, 2007 - Updated website and added several new pages: the News Page,
Hurricane Screen, and Community involvement. Also added a few more customer reviews.

December 20th, 2007 - Introduced a new product. Roll - A - Guard now sells impact rated and non-rated windows and doors.

January 1st, 2008 - Won Angie's List Super Service Award 2007 for the second
year in a row.

June 2008 - Renovated the showroom and re-opened it. The showroom is hands-on and will
be open from 8 am until 4 pm Monday through Friday.

July 3rd, 2008 - We are no longer carrying windows. Our supplier has shut their doors.

December 2008 - Roll - A - Guard became a member of IHPA (International Hurricane Protection Association). This association was created to be the industry leader on all issues that affect the hurricane protection industry.

December 26th, 2008 - Roll - A - Guard is now accepting American Express for payment!

January 1st, 2009 - Won Angie's List Super Service Award 2008 for the third year in a row.

January 3rd, 2009 - Updated website for the new year.

January 19, 2009 - Roll - A - Guard became the exclusive dealer for Eco Star Impact Resistant uPVC Windows & Doors, a Eurocraft Industries Inc product. To see more about our new product please click here.

July 20, 2009 - Friend & Co-Work John Vitale passed away. He will always be in our memories and in our hearts.

July 22, 2009 - IHPA Launches Consumer Awareness Campaign for Hurricane Protection.

November 3, 2009 - Roll - A - Guard launches their new
website. The design of the site is meant to be both more environmentally friendly and
easier on the user's eyes. By using a darker background with a lighter text less energy
is used to run the site on every computer while being easier on the eyes as light on dark is supposed to strain the eyes less.

December 23, 2009 - Roll - A - Guard has won the Angie's List Super Service Award for the fourth year in a row.

September 2010 - Roll - A - Guard is happy to welcome two new shop guys, brothers Jamie and Johnnie.

December 28, 2010 - Roll - A - Guard has won the Angie's List Super Service Award for the fifth year in a row.

January 2011 - Roll - A - Guard is celebrating thier tenth year in business

March 1, 2011 - Roll - A - Guard now accepting Discover cards.

March 23, 2011 - Roll - A - Guard has added several new pages to their website: windows, doors, side walk sale, and authorized dealers. Please make sure to check them all out.

December 16, 2011 - Roll - A - Guard has won the Angie's List Super Service Award for the sixth year in a row. They are the only Hurricane Shutter Company in Pinellas County to do so.
